Ara mateix visc a Catalunya, una regió d'Espanya que hauria d'ésser independent,​ per tant cap qüestió sobre cultura espanyola perquè no la conec. Conec la cultura catalana.
Sóc una mena de rata de biblioteca, i molt europeu.
Vull aprendre totes les llengües europees que pugui. M'agradaria treballar per a les llengües minoritàries​ d'Europa o alguna cosa per l'estil si és possible, per promoure les llengües que estan desapareixen​t del nostre Antic Continent. Si parleu llengües minoritàries​ com ara el corni, el manx, l'occità, el silesi, el livoni, el dargin, el gagauz... Si us plau, empreu-les! O moriran.
Per cert, no m'agraden gens ni mica els Estats Units. Si voleu escriure'm per preguntar-me​ per què, no cal, ja us ho dic ara: perquè hi són a tot arreu, i ja en tinc prou.
Si us plau, cap petició d'amic sense haver-ne xerrat abans un xic.
Si us plau, si proveniu d'un país petit, no expliqueu en el vostre perfil on és. Tot i no ésser pas gran, hom sap on són. I si algú no ho sap, doncs té un mapa al costat. Però no tracteu el vostre país com si fos inferior o desconegut.

I am living now in Catalonia, a region of Spain that should be independent,​ so no questions about Spanish culture because I do not know about it. I know about the Catalan culture.
I am a bookworm and very European.
I want to learn all the European languages I am able to acquire. I would like to work for minority languages in Europe or something like that if possible, to promote languages that are disappearing​ from our Old Continent. If you speak minority languages, such as Cornish, Manx, Occitan, Silesian, Livonian, Dargin, Gagauz...  please, use them! Or they shall die.
By the way, I do not like the United States whatsoever. If you want to write to me asking me why, it is not necessary, I already tell you: because they are everywhere and I am already sick of them.
And please, no friends requests before we talk a bit.
Please, if you belong to a small nation, do not explain in your profile where it is. although it is not large, people know where they are. And if someone does not, there is a map and he/she can click on it. But do not treat your country as an inferior or unknown nation.

ONLY LANGUAGE EXCHANGE.
I want to practise languages writing letters and sending them by regular mail, although I can use my email too. If the penfriend can be educated or witty it would be better but I am opened to absolutely everybody. Nevertheless​, please, use the orthographic​al rules as far as possible, and spell the words properly. And do not use emoticons or words as 'lol', they distress me.
No racists or fascists shall be responded.
So if you are Dutch, French, German, Icelandic, Italian or Portuguese, I will be very interested to exchange letters with you in your language.
Right now, I am extremely interested in finding some regular mail penfriends from PORTUGAL, as far as anyone that I have had until now has answered regularly to my letters. If you are Lusitanian and you answer all letters, please, I shall be very interested indeed.

I can help you with English and Catalan.
I am quite good speaking that beautiful but wrongly named language: Spanish. Its real name is Castilian. naming Spanish to the Castilian language is like naming British the English one.
I have some knowledge of Latin and Ancient Greek, because I attend Classics at University of Barcelona.

I would love to practise:
French: J'ai commencé l'étude de cette langue quand j'avais 12 ans.
Italian: Ho imparato italiano da solo per 2 anni.
Portuguese: Comecei a estudar o português o ano passado (estudo o português de Portugal, não o do Brasil).
German: Ich bin in einem Deutschkurs.​
Dutch: Ik leer nederlands, maar ik ben nog niet goed.

I would love to be helped with:
Icelandic: Ég er að læra íslensku (lágt stig). Falleg og skemmtileg tunga.
Occitan: Apreni l'occitan tanben, una polida lenga.
Russian: I have just started my first course, so I am still battling with my calligraphy notebooks.

I would also be delighted if someone could initiate me into Danish, Armenian or Turkish... Well, into any European language. I love our continent so anyone who desires to teach his mother tongue here I am, for absolutely every language. I am already receiving Swedish and Finnish lessons through this page!

Linguistics,​ history, classical music, politics, internationa​l relations, literature, philosophy, cinema... and antiquarian books, although I like talking about anything (except sport)

Classical music -I play the cello. I like to play string quartet music and I like to listen symphony orchestras and opera.

European movies -specially British, French, German and Danish-. I hate Hollywood as far as I hate almost everything that comes from America.

I do not really like television, but I enjoyed 'Yes Minister' and 'Yes Prime Minister'. And also 'Jeeves And Wooster'.

Classical European literature: novels, theatre and poetry. Also philosophy and specially history, besides other subjects.
