Name's Asa (and yes I know it's a boy's name) and I'm basically just looking for interesting people to talk to.  Doesn't matter where you're from or who you are as long as you can carry on a somewhat intelligent conversation​.  I've taught myself to play guitar, I'm working on bass and violin, and when the urge strikes me I'm known to plunk out stuff on the piano too.  Any other questions, just ask.

I like to read, LOVE to sleep :), and when I can't think of anything else to do, I knit.  I've recently started illusion knitting, basically you knit and purl stripes in such a way that, when looked at just right, an image can be seen.  Pretty neat if I do say so myself.

I will listen to just about any type of music, but my favorite genre would have to be Christian rock like Switchfoot and Sanctus Real.  I'm also really into Regina Spektor right now.  If you haven't heard her stuff, look her up on youtube, there's a few of her videos on there.  Definitely worth checking out!

Do you want the long or short version? lol  I'm an absolute sucker for a good chick flick, Pride and Prejudice, The Princess Bride, but I also gotta have a total gore-fest!  Not necessarily a scary movie, but one where it's mostly a huge fight scene where practically everyone dies a  horrifically​ disgusting death!  Is that terrible of me? lol

I LOOOOVE House and Gilmore Girls (*tear* I can't believe it's over!).  Middleman is also one I refuse to miss.  I hope they renew it for another season.  What else, um I also like Project Runway, CSI and (pause for dramatic effect) wrestling.  Yes, I know it's fake; that's why I like it so much!

Sabriel, Lirael, Abhorsen. They have to be the coolest books ever written.  I love Garth Nix!  The Ender series by Orson Scott Card is pretty neato as well.  Really, anything by Card is a good read.
