Hi Anthony:
I usually check this site once a week or so and saw your note.
I trade only the most volatile stocks with the most volume traded per day. I use the balance method meaning that as the share price of a stock goes down a certain %, I buy more stock to rebalance it to the equity amount I had before. If the stock share price goes up a certain %, I sell enough shares to get back to my original equity. This way, you are buying more shares at a lower price and selling more shares at a higher price. Whenever you sell shares, you put the money in your cash pool, which is usually 1/3 or so of your total equity.
Once you have made a certain amount of money, you can take it from your cash pool and get into a new position if you wish.
