I´m a half-German/​half-Croatia​n book addict with a slight
obsession with languages. Now how negative does that sound?!
Let´s just say that I love to read (all genres except sci-fi
or thriller and crime novels) and am very interested in
languages, their words and sound. I like to listen to
Finnish very much for example, although I don´t understand a
single word. And I have this thing for accents... But I
digress. I also love anything that has to do with the sea,
and I like soccer. I´m the one who laughs at the wrong
scenes in the cinema and whose sense of beauty seems to be a
bit more 'on the darker side'. I like to ask questions
(and to get answers).

I´m looking for interesting people to get to know. I like to
hear about the life in other places, about the seemingly
dullest average day as well as deep conversation​ about the
'why' and anything else. I am especially looking for people from
the Scandinavian​ countries or from English speaking places -
but on second thought it doesn´t matter where you´re from at
all as long as we get along well.  I don´t care wether you´re male or female, but I suppose you should be older than 25.
Convince me of the opposite if you like! :)

Snail mail is preferred over e-mail - it`s so much more fun to send and recieve real letters than just a bit of clicking and reading off the screen. Truth is I have a funny aversion concerning writing emails..or clearer: I suck as an e-mail penpal! Perhaps just because it´s so convenient I always postpone to reply, although it would be so much easier and quicker. However my e-mail adress is here on my profile -try it if you like. But I´m not looking for a regular e-mail penfriendshi​p.

A bit of this shallow chit chat that´s going on here is okay, but in the end I´m actually here to find penpals *gasp*

I grew up bilingual, but my Croatian got quite rusty - so I´m also looking for people to talk with in Croatian. My Norwegian is almost non existant, since I´ve just started to learn it.Perfect would be a kind of tandem via snail mail.
