Hello Andrea67. Pleased to meet you. Always good to hear about a fellow farmer. It is a dying breed us farmers. I rent most of my land out now as long as I can get a good rent price. It is a job that has to be appreciated, I think many people would like it but no one likes the risk. We always worry about the weather. And so many people like their weekends off to do other things, like camping etc.
Call me silly but have you heard of geocaching? Kind of like a treasure hunt, I just started a couple of years ago and I find it fun to search for little trinkets and just sign your name to say you found what someone has hidden. Take care. My name is Marvin.

Nice pictures and a nice profile. I am what they call a coutry-girl and that's not really well appreciated here. I had horses and goose, ducks, a few pigs, chicken, goat and even 3 cows and a lot more friends on my farm. I had to move in 2007 and since then all I could keep was my dog. It was a very small, private farm and it meant a lot of work but it was well worth it - I could be outdoors a lot and be with the animals and care for them. Nature is my truest and best friend and my guitar of course. Deeply inspired by John Denver I like playing my guitar. I love country music - it's more than 3 chords and the truth as people say - it's a life style.
