This is Noora (one per household :D) and I’m a 22 yo girl from Finland. I’m into everything Asian; (esp. Japanese) music, but also history and culture ♥

I live in Espoo, only 19km from Helsinki, the capital city of Finland. I moved here in the beginning of August since I started my beautician studies in here. I used to live in Rovaniemi and I'm originally from a city called Kokkola, so if you want, I can tell you about these cities ^^

I love meeting new people! Just not people over… say, 10-15 years older than me ’cos I don’t think we would have much in common. But you can try :D I don’t mind people younger than me though, it’s fun to talk with you guys ’cos it makes me remember those times when I was young myself XD Besides, if you’re for example 17, I’m not so much older, right?

About MSN… I do have one, and I use it quite frequently but I’ve taken my address down because people just kept adding me without ever talking to me or telling me who they were and that’s so​ frustrating!​ But if you really want it, just ask, I don’t bite!

I’d prefer Asian people (since I’m so interested in Asian cultures), but don’t let that discourage you, I’m not really that picky ^o^ As long as we have even one common interest, I think we’ll be fine!

I'd prefer​ snail mail over e-mail​ since I find it way more personal and I love getting letters and writing them ♪(*^ ・^)ノ⌒☆ I also like exchanging small gifts every now and then o(^▽^)o

I'm fluent​ in both English and Finnish​  (speaking and writing) and I guess I could manage with my Swedish, but my Japanese... my Japanese­ needs some work (///∇//) I studied Chinese a bit a few years back but I'm afraid I've forgotten most of it (*ﾟ.ﾟ)ゞ

I like learning new languages, though I’m lazy at it :,D Arabic seems like an interesting language, and someone here is kind enough to try and teach me some, so if you want to help me with it as well, leave a wallie or send a message!

I’m a terrible teacher, but I guess I can try and teach you Finnish if you’re interested. I also like writing with people who are not native English speakers. I’m not and I think it’s good for us both if we try and help each others out, if that makes any sense?

Hmm.. I like watching crime dramas like CSI and Cold Case and I enjoy Japanese dramas with cute boys :D I haven’t had a TV for a few weeks now, though, we can’t get the **** thing to work so I haven’t been watching a lot of TV lately. Well, there’s nothing but reruns on anyway!

Books by Diana Gabaldon, Anne Rice, Koushun Takami, Robin Hobbs and Stephenie Meyers. Anything and everything with vampires, history and interesting stuff like that. And I like reading biographies,​ especially of controversia​l people.
