In the Philippines I just explored, went to malls and looked at the sea. Next time I go will be purely social and resting.

Las Vegas is exactly like they show on TV, really fun place. The hotels are really cool and I stayed in Luxor (the massive pyramid hotel). Thats true what you said about cultural differences, even the toilets are different!

The funniest place I traveled was Manila or Las Vegas :) Philippines is very nice solo or with friends. I plan on going back July/August to Cebu. Traveling is fun though I try to do it often.

Perhaps being in the Netherlands going to a local country is best first :) Depends if you will travel alone or with friends though.
