Good for you! I noticed there are a lot of words that sound very similar in Russian and Polish, in written language that's no problem but in spoken language it is sometimes, at least for me. Of course your mileage may vary and maybe it becomes easier the moment you get used to deal with more languages in general.

I see. But isn't it problematic to learn similar languages at the same time? I learned Russian at school but never used it so I forgot the most. Now I learn Polish and sometimes it sounds so similar I guess I would mess it up if I would try to reactivate the Russian now, too.

May I ask what criteria you use to decide what languages do you want to learn? And what do you use to do so?
