hey! They are both Slavic languages. they're both based on Cyrillic alphabet, we have many words which sound similar, I guess if you start learning Russian one day you'll be able to see a difference yourself :)

I've read other books by Dostoevsky like "the Idiot", "Crime and Punishment", "The Double", "Humiliated and Insulted"
And adored reading them extremely much!
