Well, my korean skills are worse than a elementary kid ^^ and I lack in motivation the last months for self study... :-( So, 선생님, would you help me?

I wanna ask you something. (I always ask my students this particular question everytime I see them struggling to explain themselves.)

Are you thinking in Korean or English?

Hahaha. I think that makes a big difference. See, those students who answered that they were thinking in Korean ended up mixing the order of the words in their sentences. :)) Their verbs ALWAYS finish up at the back of the sentence.

I guess that's one of the things that make learning another language extra challenging, it's knowing the syntax, too. Not just grammar, vocabulary, and pronunciation. :) But anyway, even if it's hard I'm still having fun. Korean is difficult but it's rather intriguing for me to learn. It's like I'm killing myself but I'm enjoying it. You know? :)) Hahaha.

Yeah, well. I would have loved to have been that teacher, unfortunately I have never taught online. I'm a man-to-man teacher here, and I have been doing it for over two years now, I believe. :) Was learning English hard for you? 'cause right now I can say that learning Korean is difficult. Like, very. Haha. :))

Hey there. :) Thanks for dropping by my wall. I bet it's really challenging to teach elementary students. I know so, I've done it myself. Haha.

Hello~~ Let me bother you. I just moved to Korea in September and I want to do language exchange too. Hopefully you can use your elementary school techniques to help me?

Hello, Shawn. In September, I will visit Jeju. Is it really beautiful?

Hello Shawn. I'm surprised you say your English isn't good. Your "about me" description is grammatically perfect. That notwithstanding, if you want to practice your English I'd be happy to help. I have some education in both English composition and in phonetics/vocal production. Feel free to send me a message some time if you want to start a conversation.
