Ghost is the shell, specially the first movie, is one of my favorites, also gantz (the manga) has a lot of mindblow theories, i dont know if you watch it but it was amazing (unfortunatelly with a very bad ending). you can also watch donnie darko, you might have seen it because its very famous. i also enjoy mindblow movies, or things that the more you try to understand, the more your brain hurts ahaha, paradoxes and time travel stories as well
