Just a thought many library's loan via E books mine also has many audio books which can also downloaded to a phone this way I can be doing something and also be listening to a book
If you try Cussler pick one that has Dirk Pit as the "main" character or one of the" Oregon "ship or the "numa " filesthere are many of this type

I am also a fan of Patrica Cornwell but my favorite author is Clive Cussler and
also Nelson De Mille his older books are very good but his new stuff no t as good
the thing I really like is that many of DeMille's books are set in the area that i live and also we are contemporaries I may have even played JV football against him
