My profile slowly turns into a book blog but it's a good opportunity to practice English 🤗

I am not into Young Adult literature but this book is really touching. It tells a story about two teens who suddenly bumped into each other on a hectic London street. They don't know that just in a couple of seconds their lives change forever.

Alice will suffer from PTSD and Jack will lose his legs, dreams and hopes. They desperately need each other because none of their friends or loved ones know what they have to get through in order to return to normal life and fight with their fears.

I like the topics which were risen in this book. Living with trauma, overcoming your fears and looking for support - this book is really relevant 💔

Another book , another journey, right? 🤓
Actually, Harry Potter was the first (and the only) reason why I decided to learn English long time ago. I wanted to read the whole Harry Potter series in original, so it's not surprising that it was the first book which I started reading in English when I achieved an appropriate level.
It seems to me that Harry Potter was my first English teacher 😅

I'm not into romantic literature at all but this book really speaks to me 💔 I have so much in common with Rosie: I make mistakes time and time again, I regret about things that I should have done, sometimes I feel like my youth and life just passing by while I do nothing significant. But at the same time one of the greatest Rosie's achievements is people who always stand by her. I wish I would have such a friend who I can share my thoughts and dreams with. And if you have such a person in your life - appreciate it. 🙏Highly recommend you to read this book.

Today my 8 years old student gave me this hand-made card with written words like "beautiful", " kind ", " intelligent", "brave" and etc. It's one of the most precious presents I've ever had.
All teachers know what I mean 🥲❤
