PLEASE NOTE: I'm looking for snail mail friends, if you message me flirting with me or telling me I'm beautiful or have a nice smile then you will NOT get a response. I will just delete your message, thank you! Please write more than a "hi, how are you?"
Hello! ๐
Thirty Six - Bisexual - Engaged
So you happen to stumble across my profile and I am guessing you would like to know about me since this is what this section is called right? You would of thought that the people on this site would read it then huh? Not many people do though *sigh* Here is some information about me to the ones that do actually bother to read my profile
I live in England.. No I don't live in London! I live in Hampshire which is fairly close to London. It's a cozy area and I like living here, I'm not the sort of person that likes to live in a noisy city. I used to live in Wiltshire for 9 years before I had to move back to Hampshire in January 2018 to become guardian of my brother after my dad passed away from cancer. I live with my fiancรฉ James and our son who is 4 years old. I'm very happy in my relationship so no I'm not looking for you to flirt with me, tell me I'm beautiful or that I have a nice smile etc, thank you! If you do any of these then I will just delete your message.
I'm currently not working, I gave up my job just before my son started school to find something that would work around his school hours but I fell pregnant with my second child in the process so I'm staying at home until our second child is older now.
I have one black cat called Smudge who is now nearly 16 years old. He's recently had surgery on his ear to remove cancer. We are keeping him comfortable as he's probably not going to be around much longer but he's happy. He spends most of his time sleeping in different parts of the house nowadays rather than going outside. I also have a yellow Labrador called Sheldon who is 13 years old and just as bouncy as he was when he was a puppy!
I love my family but I am not much of a family person, I lost my mum in 2010 unfortunately and the last couple of years have been quite tough. I only have contact with my immediate family rather than my aunts, cousins, etc. It's all too much drama and I personally, can't stand drama so I steer clear from them all
I am what some people would call a loner but most of the time I prefer it to be this way. Of course, sometimes I wish I had more friends but I like being indoors and able to just read and write without forgetting to meet someone. The friends I do have, they mean a lot to me. You know who you are and I love you a lot! I am the sort of person that treats her "online" friends as real friends! All the people that I write to are my real friends and I am willing to share everything with them. I can be a shy person, I've been told that I'm really polite too but I think I have become a bit more outgoing over the years. I am a bit more open over the internet though due to having a computer screen in front of me and not an actual person.
I don't do things in short! I can not write a message without it becoming an essay and sometimes I feel completely silly about this when someone just replies with a short note. My messages/letters are always chatty and I ask plenty of questions (I like to be asked questions too - bear in mind!). My messages/letters can be longer, depending on how long I've known the person I'm talking to.
I'm very open-minded, I am bisexual after all! I would like to communicate with gay/lesbian people but I never seen to come across them so feel free to message me if you happen to stumble across my profile! I don't care about your ethnicity or your age - if you feel like we will get along then so be it
I'm a good listener, I'm sensitive too and I also care way too much about things! I can be paranoid and I can over think things as well but overall, I am just me! I am always putting my friends and other people before myself - I deal with whatever issues I have last of all as they aren't that important to me. I can be sarcastic and slightly crazy (maybe a bit too much?) but I am serious when I have to be. It's fun being a little crazy, life gets boring when you're constantly serious
I spend most of my time indoors rather than outdoors. I prefer to be reading a book cuddled up in bed or watching a film. I also like to sit at my desk and write letters! Saying that though, I can be an outdoor person as well. I love to go walking, I want to do climbing and hiking at some point and just walk somewhere to see where I end up. We just need more sensible weather in England
Penpalling, snail mail, handwritten letters... I started doing this in 2010. I am very glad that I started doing it because I have met some wonderful people through it. I love writing letters, decorating them, making envelopes etc! I love meeting new people from all over the world and writing letters to them. I'm not the fastest replier but I will always reply. I'm not one of these people that give up after 2-3 letters. I buy way too much stationary and craft bits too! I am always looking for some little bits and bobs to add to my collection when I'm out and about.
Requests
Now I'm going to try and keep this short and simple (here goes nothing!!)..
I love to recieve handwritten letters, postcards, little gifts, crafts bits, whatever you can fit in an envelope basically!
I am not someone who writes a short letter, I write long letters that are in depth and full of friendship. I normally write up to 10 pages of A5 paper, that's front and back. The longest letter I have written was 18 pages! I love to ask questions and be asked questions in return - I think it leads to more discussion which will help you learn more about your penpal.
I am not the sort of penpal that replies straight away or within a time frame unfortunately. I've lost a few penpals because I didn't reply in the time frame that they were expecting. I work a lot and I don't have much spare time usually so I try to write when I can which varies! I do always reply though, even if it might be a little bit delayed, I won't just leave you hanging there!
As I said above, my penpals are my real friends. I would like a penpal that I can eventually share everything with and possibly meet one day in the future? I've met some pretty great people through this site and I am always open for some more if we have anything in common!
Don't message me asking me for money or for a way to get into my country. Don't message me calling me beautiful and that you want to marry me. Don't message me saying "can we be penpals?" because there is a high chance that I won't reply. At least write me an interesting message to show that you're interested - if your English is not good then that's fine, do the best you can!
