About Me
Hello, I'm Anders, I'm Swedish, and a thousand years ago my forefathers may very well have tried to pillage and plunder your ancestors. I apologize for that, and I'd like to add that we, the Scandinavians, have since taken courses in anger management, and these days we'd much rather make furniture in impossibly flat boxes instead.

So, who am I? That's a good question, to be honest. If you do find out, will you tell me? Half joke, half truth there. Who is anyone? I do, however, know this: YOU are different with whoever you spend time with, right? I mean, you're a totally different person with your lover than you are with your gramps, right? So, chances are that you'll be different with me than you are with someone else. And that goes for me as well, I will probably be totally different talking with you, than I am when I am with others. Chemistry, between people.

I am a lonely person, I would be happy if someone, besides all the scammers, would write me. I would be really happy if you do. If I had a tail, I would wag it.
Requests
Not so much a request as a statement:
I'm not going to flirt with you, seduce you, or any other frivolous things. The person you are reading about is very much the same person in real life. I do not hurt anybody's feelings, by being inappropriate, rude or mean. At least, I have no intent of doing so. I show respect for anyone I talk with, and I hope you do the same.

And on a sidenote: Don't just send a "Hello", please. That doesn't exactly make my artistic juices going. It is better to send a random thought, nonsense, than just a "hello". Why not? Something like: "How does hedgehogs, you know, do IT?" Thought provocative..
Language Exchange Requests
I know both Swedish and English pretty well, considering that I've lived in Sweden and the US for many years. I wouldn't mind helping someone become more proficient in these languages. Oh, and I can teach you how to talk like Forrest Gump.
Hobbies & Interests
Reading, writing, music, tech, computers, games, cats, movies, swimming, cycling, fixing old broken, unloved things. I've always had a knack for that; fixing cars, computers appliances whatever. I don't know, I see a soul in just about anything, really, and it makes me happy to make something shine again. Furthermore, I've always had older cars, but they tend to look brand new, because I keep after them.
Favorite Music
Lots of weird music, made by items that aren't considered musical instruments. And when my ears bleed, I tend to listen to normal music. So, everything from Einstürzende Neubauten to Bon Jovi. I do love music, music makes me happy when I'm sad. There is no real "good" or "bad" music, because in the end it all depends on how it makes you feel, right? My music may be unconventional, but it's mine I get sad when long time friends ridicule it, for the millionth time.
Favorite Movies
Movies by Jim Jarmusch, Roman Polanski, Terry Gilliam and John Hughes. Mad Max trilogy, Escape from New York, Rumble Fish, Box of Moonlight, Welcome to Collinwood. All the movies that I love but have not included here are all, collectively, crying right now. I love movies as well, but perhaps not as much as I love music.
Favorite TV Shows
British humor, like The Young Ones, Bottom, Fawlty Towers etc. For decades, people keep telling me that "you would just loooooove Star Trek, Deep Star Twelve" or whatever, I find them mind-numbingly boring. The closest thing to Star Trek that I do like is probably the old 80s tv-series "V". Resistance, dirty and gritty.. But, to be frank, I don't watch TV, just the odd show that I watch on the side.
Favorite Books
The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, Shogun, Catch 22, Charles Bukowski, Trainspotting, Jonathan Strange & Mr Norrell.  I love dystopian and alternate reality novels, and for some odd reason I really like to read instruction manuals. I dare say that I've bought a new, to me, car just so that I can read the manual, and find out the little "easter eggs" they put in cars.
Favorite Quotes
I've seen things you people wouldn't believe... Attack ships on fire off the shoulder of Orion... I watched C-beams glitter in the dark near the Tannhäuser Gate. All those moments will be lost in time, like tears in rain... Time to die. - Roy Batty (Replicant (Blade Runner))
