Requests
Do not start by trying to hit on me or suggest marriage or sexual things. This is where most chats already fail at the start, which is rather sad. Also if you ask about the weather first, I will direct you to a weather site happily.

* video games (especially ones from circa '95-'05)
Favorite Music
I like rock/metal/punk, especially from roughly 1970's to late 90's, or current music with this sort of a vibe. This is the music I grew up with. But I really like all kinds of music and can be tempted to listen to anything. Who does not listen to popular hits of their early 20's while doing the dishes???? If you don't you are missing out. :)
Some of the bands that frequent my headphones (in no particular order) include names like: Children of Bodom, The Ramones, The misfits, Dead Kennedys, Ghost, Iron Maides, Judas Priest, Trbngr, Accept, Kiss, Mokoma, Turmion Kätilöt, Electric callboy, Aerosmith, Danzig, Rammstein, Rob Zombie, Alice Cooper, Mötley Crüe, Lamb of God... hell I even love The Beatles, hehe. I probably forgot to add many names too, ask how I feel about some band if curious.
Favorite Movies
Monty Python movies, 80's muscle films, some war movies. Not really into current movies.
Favorite Books
I read and have read a lot and all kinds of books, fiction, history, classics, Sci-fi, fantasy, economy/politics, self help, true crime, romance....... Nowadays also been into audio books during commute or chores especially. I cannot name favourites, but here are some writers/poets in no particular order I like, probably forgot a few too.
Mika Waltari, Väinö Linna Ilmari Kianto, H.P Lovecraft, J.R.R Tolkien, Stephen King, Svetlana Aleksijevitš, Eino Leino, Maria Jotuni, Iida Turpeinen, Mihail Šiškin, Jane Austen, sisters Brontë, Juha Itkonen, Kaari Utrio, John Christopher, Franz Kafka, J.K Rowling, David Eddings, Arthur Conan Doyle, Julia Quinn, Johanna Sinisalo, Suzanne Collins, Christian Jacq, Minna Canth, Pirkko Saisio, Lisa See ................... the list goes on, I am happily taking recommendations.
