About Me
I know that I am of interest only to those who are interested in antiquity. I used to have a much more complete profile, but removed all the information, because it served no purpose. It drew no interest.

But today, I decided to add a few things about me. I am a single, white male. I have two graduate degrees. I was married once, then divorced. No children. I have lived throughout the U.S, and in two Canadian provinces. I have taught and worked for some corporations. I dislike what is happening to my country with the current administration and regret the pain it is causing to so many people.
If you want to know something, please ask and I will answer.

I would, however, ask you to read the following.

Because a person died, I am alive.

I hope that statement doesn't offend any InterPal user or InterPal itself. It is simply a message to encourage anyone that may possibly be able to, to consider donating some part of their body to help someone else. Organ donation is complicated and I realize it is not possible everywhere and even where it can be done several factors are involved.

I know little about my donor, as is often the case. I know he was a young man and he matched my blood type, a blood type that is not as common as others. He possibly died in a vehicular accident and he and his family were generous in saving my life and probably others.

In some cases, living donors can donate an organ or part of an organ. Thousands of people in the United States die because of a shortage of donors and I suspect that is true for the rest of the world. I know of cases where people from other parts of the world come to the hospital which did my surgery to have a life saving operation.

The only social medium I have used is InterPals (I guess it counts as a social medium). I am using it to only ask people to consider becoming an organ donor. It is a tiny way to pay back for my unknown donor's generosity.
Requests
If you decide to send me a message, I would appreciate more than simply receiving a simple "Hi." Please include some information about yourself even if you have some in your profile. Usually, those who send "Hi" provide little to no information. Also, you might ask me some questions, because I have little information, although my photographs offer some insight to my nature. If you ask, I will answer.
