I think you are right in your statements about abrahamic religions. I also think that religious people don't really need any rational proves, religion is not about seeking of truth, it's actually about seeking of hope, company and support or simple and nice-sounding answers for difficult questions. And this is totally OK, in my opinion. All problems begin when religious people try to convert everyone to their religion and when they want other people to live by their irrational rules just because "god" wants so, without any proves this way of life is the right way
