I grew up in the area that the Nibelung saga supposedly took place in part. There's even a small spring that Siegfried is told to have bathed in. But I have to admit that it's not the only spring claiming that ;-)
And in the area there's also a place that has a wireframe statue symbolising Fafner, which is illuminated in red and blue at night.
