Hello! I'm Giuliana and I'm Italian. I like to read a little about everything and listen to music of all kinds, from Jazz to Rock to Classical music. I like painting shows and my favorite painters are Pierre Auguste Renoir, Giovanni Boldini and Egon Schiele. I'm a big fan of Man Ray and Auguste Rodin. I also like photographic exhibitions and one of the greatest emotions I felt in my life was to see the great photographer Steve McCurry take my book and sign it.
I like to take pictures too.
I love the sea, to swim, but I don't like boats in general. I could never take a cruise, but some mini cruises like sailing on the Danube or by boat in Venice, those yes.
My favorite superhero is Batman.

I love visiting the castles, I love to go around among those rooms full of history and lived and past life that make me jump back in time, I like to make flights of imagination to imagine how life was and lived in those places in the period of their maximum splendor, I like to imagine what life was like for all the inhabitants of the castles, from the owners to all the service staff. I find that they have a great charm. Fortunately, many castles are still well preserved and can be visited.

I like all the music, I listen to all kinds of music, but I prefer pop music and classical music, especially piano concerts.

To begin with, I can say without a doubt that my favorite film of all is Charles Dickens' "A Christmas Carol", in particular the version in which the character of "Scrooge" is played by Jim Carrey, followed by Disney's short film version.
I like very much the Old Black and White movies, and I love Woody Allen both as an actor and as a director, among all his films, to my liking, surely in the first place there is: - "Midnight in Paris", followed by " The Curse of the Jade Scorpion ".
I like Disney cartoons, especially 1) "Basil the Great Mouse Detective", 2) "The Aristocats", 3) "The Lion King".
A film that I really appreciated even if I'm not a fan of the genre "Western" is "The Lone Ranger", while "The Devil wears Prada" I like it because it is a film that at first glance seems only a light and pleasant comedy but watched with a certain attention it is instead a very interesting film because it reflects the sad and real world of appearance in which we live,in my personal opinion, describes it very well.
Well, this premise I can say that I don't like so much science fiction movies (these just for nothing), the westerns, spy movies and love movies with the end of course always happy ending (I try to avoid them) .
I like and I prefer comedies, action movies, adventure movies, thrillers (thrillers I like very much), fantasy and comic movies.
There are films that have impressed me especially for a different reason and that I put in my small home film library, so I could cover them whenever I feel like it, and depending on my mood I choose either this or that movie:
"Hugo Cabret", "Chocolat", "The Labyrinth of the Faun", "This must be the place", "The Secret Life of Walter Mitty", "Murder by Death", "Braveheart", "The Gladiator", "The Last of the Mohicans" , "Sleepy Hollow", "Pirates of the Caribbean", "The Silence of the Lambs", "Indiana Jones", and all the "Batman", to name a few, others I mentioned before and others still do not mention them because the list would start to get too long, I thought they were few ..... I thought .......
Before forgetting and to conclude, I must say that even some musical movies I like as:
"Evita", "Moulin Rouge," Les Miserables "," Into the Wood "and others .....

Premising that I watch very little TV,  I start by saying that I don't like documentaries, reality shows, talk shows (not all, but most) and soap operas, my favorite programs were, are and will remain the series TV.
I love TV series and my favorites are:
In "Murder, She wrote (La Signora in Giallo)", I think that the character of Jessica Fletcher is played wonderfully by the great Angela Lansbury.
"Miss Fisher's Murder Mysteries (Miss Fisher Delitti e Misterri)".
"Magnum P.I.", C.S.I. Las Vegas, "Visitors", "The Jeffersons", "The Cosby Show (I Robinson)", "Miami Vice", the Italian series "Il Commissioner Montalbano", I find extraordinary the first season of "Twin Peaks", "Cold Case" (this is in absolute first place as my favorite) ", and can't miss the TV movies of Alfred Hitchcock among my favorites, as well as can't miss the movies and TV series of "Sherlock Holmes " by Arthur Conan Doyle, and" Miss Marple and Hercule Poirot " by Agatha Christie.
