I know that sharing cool, carefully curated photos of yourself is a great way to catch people's attention... But now, more than a pretty photo, I'd like to get to know people who are willing to communicate slowly.

I might sit down at my computer every few days to reply to your emails. I know it's not the most convenient way to communicate, but I still love this slower rhythm of getting to know someone. (Of course, if you prefer instant messaging, feel free to say hi anyway. I care much more about the conversation itself! It's just that sometimes, after a few months, realizing we've become nothing more than profile pictures sitting quietly in each other's contact lists feels a little sad.)

Maybe I'll attach a few photos I've taken with my CCD camera, landscapes or little creatures I happen to come across. (Some might just be phone photos filling the gap, but that doesn't really matter. 😂) We can talk about society, history, or simply what's happening around us. Tell me about your little discoveries, anything at all, and I'll happily write back. I'll probably complain about my career too.

If you'd rather exchange physical letters, postcards, or anything else, I think that would be pretty cool too!
