I'm Jonna, 36 years old woman from Finland. I live quite near to our capital, Helsinki. At the moment I live in a small city where I actually have everything I need. So, I can say it is a lovely place :) (Note: I do not live in Vantaa.)
I really love snail mailing, it's lovely write and receive real letters. I started it when I was 9 years old. At first I wrote with Finnish girls of course, but nowadays I mainly have penpals from other countries. It's so nice to share different cultures, habits, events, languages, religions and especially daily life!
So, I really like to write medium long letters and I like that there are some meaning of letters. I mean...it's nice to have good conversation! I don't like letters with only answers and questions.
I don't think we've to be same kind of people or have lots of common interests...we just have to have a good conversation! Share our daily life and so on. For me it is important to create long term friendships, I do not stop writing after one or two letters. We can even meet in real life some day :) For me the point is to exchange letters regularly, not once in two or three years...

SNAIL MAIL PENPALS. Im looking for serious, long lasting penpals who write letters regularly. Not just one letter in two years or people who just want to try snail mailing. I prefer medium long letters due to expensive postages.
Im not here looking for a relationship!!! I am not a charity organization, a visa machine or a language teacher either.
I want only snail mail penfriends! I don't like to sit in front of computer to write long e-mails or chat here...
