Hello and nice to meet you, I'm Rens. I'm a Dutch international teacher currently working in Mexico.

I am honest, open(-minded), practical, hard-working, organised/structured, eccentric and a tad spiritual. I'm also quite a good listener who's into deep conversations, if that's something you're in :).

It might also be worth mentioning that I'm a vegan. Mainly for the animals, as I feel motivated to contribute to a better environment.

Lastly, thinking aloud: I'm quite a bit of a peace-loving guy these days, not trying to cause harm and trying to make the world a bit better. I'm trying my best to contribute to this even though this might only make a small difference.

I am interesting in talking to all sorts of people on here, mainly to have good/interesting conversations. If you like deep/meaningful conversations, send me a message. I'm personally more fond of deeper conversations than shallow ones. Doesn't mean they can't start with a simple 'hello, how are you', though. Footnote with this is that I can get quite busy at times, making me take a long time to reply. Please know that this might happen, and please don't take it personal, it isn't ;).

For hobbies, I noticed they tend to become a bit stabler than before. Currently, I enjoy walking and cycling, listening to music, good conversations and playing board/card/video games (with others).

Things I'm interested in, are:
- Nature (mainly forests, snow and lakes). I would so want to live in or near nature.
- Animals. Animals are so cute. I like all animals (this includes mosquitoes). I think my favourite animal is a cat though, with my cat Lu at the top :). Kunekune pigs are also really adorable.
- Music, with loads of different genres I listen to.

Even though this switches often and also depends on my current mood, what I currently listen to a lot is:

- The Devin Townsend Project (and Devin Townsend in general)

- Hammerfall
- 40s/50s music

I don't really watch any movies, especially not on a regular basis. I used to like movies more in the past, and from that time I liked:
- Harry Potter
- Lord of the Rings
- Pirates of the Caribbean series
- Saw

I don't watch any actively on TV, and mostly watch YouTube in general, but I did like:
- American Dad
- Dharma & Greg
- Family Guy
- Frasier
- NCIS: LA
- Scrubs

My favourite book series of all time is Harry Potter... Read it both in Dutch and English and even though I'm not really a fan anymore, the world created is cool.
