Hello! My name is katie and I am from Australia. I work in a Call center for our postal service here in Australia. I’m a down-to-earth person who likes simple things in life. A good cup of tea, spending time with my cat, and being outside in nature are some of my favorite things. In my free time, I enjoy exploring new places with my camera and meeting new people from all walks of life. I also like good books, deep conversations, and exploring new places just as much as the next person.

You have internet, you can look up how to start in depth conversation and it will tell you what to say. Still be creative but anything is better then nothing. If I have to carry a conversation from the get go, I'll lose interest. You give nothing, I'll give nothing back.

I plan on travelling to Norway to vist old friends and would love to learn a bit more of the language before i get there.

I've been sewing since I was 6 years old, I enjoy making some clothing here and here but tend to just repair my old clothing. I do love to make things with my hands, knitting, bookbinding.
I also enjoy photography, though its been a few years since I was really throwing myself into it. Goal this year is to focus on it more.
Music was a big part of my life growing up, dad was a folk musician and I get a lot of my love for music from him, I play the violin and sing with him any chance I get. I'm also learning to play the guitar and also hoping to learn the bodhran to surprise him as he is no longer able to play music.

Cooking was not a huge part of my child hood but my mum would always make my siblings and I cupcakes for our school snacks and she would let me stay up and eat what was left in the bowl, I now love to bake when I can, something about it makes me feel very comforted and calm.
I do love to game when I can on my pc, im currently playing horizon forbidden west. i have many hobbies, to many to write down, but this is a start.

First off I'm a big fan of rom-com, My Favorite is Mr.Right, look it up its fantastic.
Also a huge fan of the lord of the rings, big surprise there. While all the other kids were pretending to be witch's or wizards from harry potter I was pretending to be a hobbit.
But again to many to name but if you have any movies you think I may like, send them over.

I don't watch a lot of tv shows but the few I do watch include, the witcher (also enjoy the games/books), star track, any of the star wars shows, new girl, Archer, The Last of Us, Arcane and Fallout.

I love a good book, I have a large personal collection of antique books, the best of which is my lord of the rings trilogy printed in 1965, not first editions but the Closest I could get with out going into dept.
I have to many Favorite Books to name, but I enjoy most Genres, some more then others, I do preferer a good fantasy book over a biography but my heart belongs to the history books I have collected since I was a child, right now I'm reading a book on Hadrian's wall.
