Interesting! Spirituality! My cup of tea, so to speak! Yes, indeed, it comes from the Soul and "some" have been gifted with it…..

"Because one does not want to be disturbed, to be made uncertain, he establishes a pattern of conduct, of thought, a pattern of relationship to man...Then he becomes a slave to the pattern, and takes the pattern to be the real thing."

The Forests of the West

Like the wind in the trees that came across the valley floor,
I heard the sound, the vibrations, like a knocking on the door.
Never through the skin but like a bolt straight to the Heart,
Firing my emotions like the heat from the sun on an iceberg.
I heard the Sounds of the Forests of the West

Out of touch, out of time. Out of breath and out of strength.
Weary of the travelling yet keen to travel the complete length
Like a Traveller who only wants to go home, to rest his weary Soul.
To sit in the warmth again, warm my feet by the fire once more.
I feel the Calling from the Forests of the West.

Shadows moved through the trees, almost hiding from my eyes
But I have been looking for so long that my eyes have styes.
I cannot see you properly, Kinsmen, but I know you are there.
But I feel your presence and I know one day I will be where
The wind blows through the Forests of the West.

Not every forest I see has trees, not every tree I see has leaves,
But every person I see that walks by me has Shadow in their eaves.
Their roofs hide that which is below, an umbrella from the sun.
Take them off Traveller, turn your face to meet the new day begun
In the Forests of the West.

Follow the bird, she knows where she goes and where she wants to be,
And her eyes have no styes, her horizons are farther than you can see.
Watch her blue feathers glisten in the morning sun, her chirp call to you.
Follow her flight and she will take you to somewhere new
To the Forests of the West.

And when you get there my friend, say ‘hello’ to the Souls you meet.
They have been there such a long time, and will always take time to greet
A Traveller such as yourself, one who has heard the Ancient and Distant Call.
They will welcome you with open arms, each Kindred One and All.
From the Forests of the West.

Little Girl Lost

She stood in the mist, clutching her teddy tight
Lost and alone and fearful of the night
She couldn't understand why she was on her own
She couldn't understand why you left her alone
That Little Girl Lost

'Why can't she see?'
'What does she expect me to want?'
'Doesn't she know it's simple?'
Thought the Little Girl Lost

Beyond the mist in the dark of her own mind
Stood the woman who wouldn't see, the woman blind
Thought she was Nothing, wouldn't see that Something
Only the Little Girl and the tears she was crying

'Why can't she see?'
'What does she expect me to want?'
'Doesn't she know it's simple?'
Thought the Little Girl Lost

'What does the girl want? Someone who is strong?
Someone who will be there for her all day long?
I can't do that, I have nothing to give
Sometimes I can't find the strength even to Live'

'Why can't she see?'
'What does she expect me to want?'
'Doesn't she know it's simple?'
Thought the Little Girl Lost

'Please, just take my hand and show me you care
That's all I need, for you to know that I'm there
I don't need anything other than you
Take my hand, it's all you need do'

'Why can't she see?'
'What does she expect me to want?'
'Doesn't she know it's simple?'
Thought the Little Girl Lost

'Take my hand, we'll be strong for each other
I can help you, we can do this together
All I want is simply someone who cares
No conditions, and we'll take the rest from there'

'Why can't she see?'
'What does she expect me to want?'
'Doesn't she know it's simple?'
Thought the Little Girl Lost

You Stood By The Shore

You stood by the shore
As I swam against the tide
Flowed past the rocks that would smash me to a pulp
Threw driftwood towards me to tear my flesh
Threatened to drown me in vicious undercurrents
You stood by the shore

You stood by the shore
As I swam with the tide
Flowed gently with the currents as they made their way
By-passing driftwood with deft flicks and strokes
Took flight with the undercurrents that carried me along
You stood by the shore

You stood by the shore
Because I asked you to, I needed you to
I asked you to be there, where I needed you to be
Even when you wanted to swim with me, needed to
How can I justify asking you to do that?
Even though every one of your instincts said "Jump"
You stood by the shore

MoonStone

"Moonstone, Moonstone, where are you Moonstone?
It's raining, it's cold, and I am here alone
I've been seeking you, reaching for you for many years
Heard your name constantly ringing in my ears."

Softly she cried her name
Called over the wind and rain
Sent every thought abroad
Every thought of its own accord

"Moonstone, Moonstone, forever it seems I have sought
Nothing but pain and anguish has the longing brought
I gave it all to find you, and now you bring me here
To this dark and dismal place where nothing is clear."

Softly she cried her name
Called over the wind and rain
Sent every thought abroad
Every thought of its own accord

The rain whipped her cloak, rain wet her hair
The stones slipped as she climbed up the stair
Castle ruins were scary places in the dead of night
But the room at the top began to come into sight

Softly she cried her name
Called over the wind and rain
Sent every thought abroad
Every thought of its own accord

The room was dark, the wind was whistling through
The rock was held in her hand, she knew what to do
A moon crept round the sky and chased away the rain
Throwing its light back into the ruined room again

Softly she cried her name
Called over the wind and rain
Sent every thought abroad
Every thought of its own accord

Placing the stone in the centre, arms open wide
She had rehearsed the words, now she began to recite
The incantation that would charge the Sacred Stone
And strong the words came though she felt so alone
Softly she cried her name
Called over the wind and rain
Sent every thought abroad
Every thought of its own accord

Incantation made, the moon moved away
Darkness was waning against the light of day
Grey mist hung like a sodden rag
And in this finality her spirits began to flag

Softly she cried her name
Whispered over the wind and rain
Sent every thought abroad
Every thought of its own accord

Beaten, downtrodden she made her way home
The final opportunity to find Moonstone had gone
She sat in the shower, cried long through the water
The last chance had gone, never will there be another

Softly she called her name
Whispered over and over again
Sent every thought abroad
Every thought of its own accord

Sleep came in fits, troubled dreams fought with her mind
Filled her conscious with a trouble of every kind
Until awakening came with a welcome respite
And she found herself yet again locked into the night

Softly she called her name
Whispered over and over again
Sent every thought abroad
Every thought of its own accord

She opened the window and looked into the night
Saw a cloudless sky and glinting starlight
And high in the Heavens, still strong and full
She was caught by the moon and captured by its pull

Softly she whispered her name
Whispered over and over again
Sent every thought abroad
Every thought of its own accord

Straight to her Heart it went, it fell on the stone
A Heart that had thought

Quoth The Wander

"Wanderer, where have you been?"

Quoth the Wanderer
"I have been to wherever my Path may lead
To wherever my Heart would indeed
Guide my feet, a single step at a time
Often-times to a place so sublime
Often-times to a place never gone to before
And each time I did willingly open the door."

"Wanderer, where are you now?"

Quoth the Wanderer
" I am here, I am now, I am as I stand
With that which I have dropped upon the land
And with that which I need deep inside of me
With all that I am, all I can ever be
I turn myself to face me, and in each place
A different face sees me, I see another face"

"Wanderer, whither goest thou?"

Quoth the Wanderer
"To my next step, where my heel finds ground
Maybe I will tarry a while, maybe look around
Or turn my hood to the cold and damp
Perchance to be guided by some mystical lamp
See the wonders that surround me, or perchance
Never see those wonders as they sing and dance."

"But where your destination, Wanderer?"

Quoth the Wanderer
"Only my feet knows, nor do I ask
For one day they will lead me home at last
Set me down in my chair in my home
And tell me I have never really been alone
In those days of comfort and when the task is done
I will know that we two have been one."

"What glory awaits you, Wanderer?"

Quoth the Wanderer
"I seek no glory, I seek not fame
I seek nothing that will make my feet lame
For in the end of days when the circle is wrought
Love, Light and Truth are the only things I brought
All else fallen by the wayside, then gone
Except the satisfaction that the day is done."

"Wanderer, go in peace always"

Quoth the Wanderer
"Wherever it may take you, whither it lead
Always let your Journey be with your own feet
Some will talk, some point, some demand
But always leave your own footprints on the land
For they are worthy, if indeed your own
And if you are careful they will lead you to your throne."

This Time is Evergreen

When old friends once again walk with you on your Path
And you never thought to close the door on a friendship built to last
Yet here they are again, walking right there by your side
And you know that you've always carried them safe deep inside
This Time is Evergreen

When throughout your Life you look, you walk, you seek
Always trying to find the Light, even just a peek
Suddenly the veil fades and the curtain rises on the stage
And the shadows begin to fade like a useless, bygone adage
This Time is Evergreen

When you male connections with another kindred Soul
And the feelings in your Heart become a little more whole
You begin to see the threads woven into this web of Life
The Illusion of Seperation begins to fade from your eyes
This Time is Evergreen

When Reality puts a mask on to hide its face away
It puts on different make-up, tells you it's another day
And the Dreams of your Soul become the Dreams of your Heart
Dreams and Reality can't be seen as apart
This Time is Evergreen

When you finally realise you are never really alone
And each step on your Path takes you closer to home
When the Light shines out from a pin-prick to a beam
You cherish each Conscious thought because it's EverGreen

The Eyes of a Child
The halls were crowded, people gathered in a throng
Quiet words were spoken, almost weaved into a song
Hopes reigned anew, took shape and took their flight
Upwards and onwards they moved o somewhere out of sight
Hopes came freely to some, others struggled to even dare
But not one single person in that crowd was not aware
Of the new creations that were deep inside their Hearts
And not one single person could set themselves apart

Like a Viking warrior, he surged through the crowd
And they parted as he moved, some gasping out aloud
Such was his stature, his gaze self-focussed straight
A path was parted through them to allow his gait
He made a way clear for the young man that would follow
Tall, and thin, and wiry, around him an aura of white
Easy his movements, casual steps and comfortable smile
The grey-blue eyes focussed on a figure not seen in a while

The room faded to his Consciousness, gone in a wisp
The look by which he held her became focussed and crisp
She looked at him with that cheeky smile he remembered
That stayed in his Heart like ever-glowing embers
Fluid became his movements, though not really his own
As something seemed to walk away from his flesh and bone

Souls met at that moment and crossed time and space
As the two stood there smiling face to face

"Where are you going, Kryn? You can always stay here
I’ll be sad when you go because I won't have you near
And although you told me we are never really alone
I’ll really miss you when I know you’re not at home"
He looked down and smiled, then knelt in front of her
"Little one, you know I must go and you know where
But one day you will follow, you and I will meet again
You will know in your Heart, I’ll be there just the same."

The guard was becoming anxious, the people around him hushed
His escorts tried to move him but he didn't care much
For all the need at that time was past, the enforced haste
He didn’t see the time with the little girl as a waste
Although his Journey was important to everyone in the hall
And it carried the future hopes and dreams of them all
What was important right then and there when all said and done
Was the hopes and dreams of this fragile girl, this little one

He reached into his Heart and pulled from deep within
A glowing Light, a shining and very special part of him
With awe on her face she looked quite amazed
As the Light cast highlights upon her face
"It’s yours, if you want it. Something to remember me by"
She opened her mouth to talk, but could not reply
"I’ll keep it safe,’ she said, "I'll put it somewhere warm
And every day I'll polish it and see it comes to no harm."

And in a Time before Time a little girl smiled
In a Time before Time a young man returned the smile
Changes, exchanges. Cherished memories, Paths crossed
And in a Time during Time we found memories thought lost
Though Seperation had come and Journey took its toll
Hearts found Light in the
