My name is Mateus Bassi, most of people call me just bassi. I am an historian/history and philosophy teacher. I like italian progressive rock and play the flute when i can, also, some peruvian and irish flutes.
I like almost all languages, but i have a big desire to learn Russian, i think that this one is such a beatiful one. Italian is very likely too.
I have interests in culture in general, that is actually one of the subjects i study (cultural studies, post-colonial and decolonial history), soo its very interesting to know something new about world identity and culture.
I like to listen to national songs in their national languages.

AS i said, i teach history, soo perhaps i also like that. My subject of study is Brazil in early-mid century focusing in history of science. Soo i study eugenics, gentrification, racialism and the cultural, political etc background. This is the best thing to understand nowadays Brazil.
I also teach philosohpy and social sciences, but im not graduated on that, just curious.
For this reason, i also like to read some classical literature, not because i like, but because it helps me to get some thinkings of their eras. I read too slow.
I like to play games (ask me), fav. ones includes MOWAS 2, Skyrim, Star Wars Galactic Battleground Saga (though i dont like Star Wars soo much) and other strategy or fps games.
Countries i want to visit: Russia, Estonia, China, Mongolia, Argel, Angola.

idk it changes time to time, but F. Kafka "Metamorphosis" is considered by me the most beautiful one. I don't like Orwell, kinda poor stories. My fav. Brazilliam writer ir Joaquim Manuel de Macedo. I also like Hemingway and one day i will read "100 anõs de soledad" by Gabriel Garcia Marquez, just need to gather some power to do it.
