Hi everybody !

My name is Alex and I am from the beautiful country of Austria, which is situated in the midle of Europe and where these incredible funny T - shirts are sold, which say that we do not have Kangaroos here.

I have not been using Interpals for quite a long time again and now I decided that I would like to be active on here agin. That is why I thought would be a good thing to renew my profile a little bit and also load up some new pictures, so  that all of you can  experience the loss of my youth and my inexorable decline through these pictures :-)

I was born and raised in the  capital of our country - the city of Vienna. In  2015 I moved together with my girlfriend into a new house in a village called Mauerbach, which is a suburb of Vienna and only 10 Minutes away from my old home. So we did not actually move away from Vienna.

Also  since the 22nd of January 2015 there are not only the two of us living there but also our Little daughter which was born on this date. She is our little everything now.

I studied law at the University of Vienna. At first I started to study business economics after I had graduated from school but after some semester I had to realize that this was not the right thing for me and so I made a study change. It has been the right choice and now I am working in my families firm, which produces techinical facilities for gases needed in hospitals (O2, N2O, CO2, compressed air....)

All in all I am a friendly, laid-back guy who likes to spend some time with his friends and go out on the weekends for partying (sadly, the older you get, the less often that happens),but who also likes to stay at home from time to time and read a book, watch a good movie or simply lies in the sun in the garden and listens to music.

Even though I said that it's a shame that I can't party as much as I used to, the truth is that I don't really want to anymore. I no longer feel the need to throw myself into the Nightlife and get drunk every weekend. Mainly due to the facts that I have already reached an age where this is no longer necessary, that I feel too old for many clubs, that I need two days to recover after going out once and last but not least because I have an 8 year old daughter who should not see me in a miserable state after a party.

During my spare time I  play in a football (soccer) amateur team, which our clique founded in 2004. In summer I also love to play tennis and beach volleyball and could do that for hours and hours.
As I am from Austria it is not a great surprise that I adore to go skiing and snowboarding in winter. That is also the reason why I could never move to a country where there is no snow during the whole year.  I also could not imagine to celebrate Christmas without snow and without the beautiful Christmas markets we have here.

Actually I do not have any special preferences. I am registered on "inter pals" to get to know people from all over the world, find some good pen pals and something about their cultures.
Of course would the conversations be certainly more interesting if you are round my age and not extremely older or younger.

I neither favor e-mails nor snail mail. Although it would be interesting to write letters again and send it with the post. I think the last time I have done this was in my french class when I was 14.
However....just tell me which way to get in contact you prefer, and this is the way we will do it.

At last I want to mention that I am not searching for romance or marrige or some perverted cyber sex affaire on Skype/ MSN/ Yahoo or what else.
I am happy with my girlfriend and my Little daughter and just want to find good friends from other countries on this web page.
