Hi, I'm Joe and I came from China. Hope I'm not disturbing you. To tell you the truth, I would like to make friends with Poles, because 3 months latter I'll be there to work. I was looking for truely friends in Poland, and I want to know about this beautiful country. May I have the chance to speak with you?

Yeah, that's common attitude :)

Congrats on that house purchase! We're selling ours at the moment as it turns out!

Catch you later, mate. Good to meet you.

The mountains are paradise, the South Island is paradise!

Auckland City (North Island) is a boiling pot of different groups. Very vibrant place, but with many bad histories to share too. The indigenous people here suffered a lot in colonial times, and arguably still suffer from negative portrayal in the media. Long story :)

But yes, not all paradise. Like take the statue of Venus for example: far away, she is perfect.. walk closer and you see her cracks; but still beautiful. I love my country.

You thought about travelling to NZ?

Yeah I agree with your conclusion completely. It totally depends on the people.

Why would Switzerland exhibit low criminality? Well, I'm guessing, but perhaps it has something to do with a functioning economy that can provide a minimum standard of living for its people that means they do not have to resort to violent means in expressing their frustration with material impoverishment! (Sorry haha)

But yes, given the economic/political disparities of New Zealand, legalizing gun ownership would be a step in the wrong direction. Besides weapons to protect ourselves from our government are largely unnecessary (our govt polls in as the most honest in the developed nation states).
