About Me
Yes. Ok. I know. I am back. After a long, long absence. Life happens. And usually, when it does, it comes after you in a Soviet-made tank. And whomever knows Soviet technology knows you better not mess with the sh- I mean, stuff.

I'll be rebuilding my profile from scratch sooner rather than later, promised. I won't leave you guys long before I start spluttering my politically incorrect sh- stuff, goddammit.

[IN CONSTRUCTION]

So let us start. Hey, I'm Squirrel. Why Squirrel? I am prone to anxiety attacks, I tend to eerily stare right back at you when you look at me. And if you come too close, I will try to climb that tree. Oh and I cross the streets in the most European of fashions. I don't care about your North American light, I don't care about your North American honking, I don't care about your North American middle-finger. It is pretty amazing I haven't ended up as road-kill just of yet.

Oh and before another Canadian genius has a great idea, keep the nut jokes to yourselves, guys. Not even an electron microscope would be able to find yours (not that any of you guys that would make a nut joke knows what an electron microscope is).
Requests
As long as you're literate, you're welcome. I can't promise you I will always write perfectly, and I can overlook some mistakes here and there as long as you can overlook my mistakes too. This being said, there is some stuff I just can't overlook. "Sa va?" is one of those things. DON'T EVER USE "Sa" instead of "
Hobbies & Interests
I love to write. I tend to have these schizophrenic moments where characters talk to me. No, more like harass me by repeatedly punching me in the brain from within to force me to write. I have found myself writing 20 000+- -word stories in two days. I am not bragging, I am complaining! Can you imagine how psychotic one of my writing phases is?! Actually, I just realized it is not me that writes, I am nothing but one of those typing-machine monkeys. My characters write ... and I type ... and this has to stop before you guys start running away, screaming to bloody murder ... How do I make friends again?

I like to draw (mediocrily - look I invented a new word) too.
Favorite Music
Any mainstream metal. Dio? Yes. Twisted Sister? Yes. Iron Maiden? Oh dear Lord (hah!), absolutely yes, please! Slayer? Sure. Venom? Am I obliged to drink someone's blood. Just kiddin', I love Venom. Actually, name it, I've most probably religiously (snicker) listened to it for a good while of my life. BESIDES CANNIBAL CORPSE, that's a no-go for me. Call me a feather-weight if you wish!
Favorite Movies
Anything with Liam Neeson in it. Yes, I admit it, I don't watch the movie, I just stare for long periods of time at Liam Neeson's face, my mind blank, my pupils dilated and my eyes round.
Favorite TV Shows
I haven't had a TV for the longest time. And when I did have one, we had six channels on it. A while ago my coworker asked me whether I watched "the Office", I thought she was asking me whether I was spying on our vice-dean for Research because I can see the back of his head from our lab ... his office is two windows and a free-fall away from me ... I sound like a creep, don't I?
Favorite Books
Anything by a Russian author. Besides Nabokov. I have this hateful obsession about Nabokov. I hate his prose. I hate his teachings. I hate his Times articles. I just hate Nabokov. Whenever I read a Nabokovian simile or metaphor, my eye starts twitching. I can smell Nabokov or Nabokov-inspired literature a mile away. No Nabokov. Never. Ever. Ever.

I also tend to like Japanese literature of the late 19th and early 20th century. French literature of the 17th to 19th century. Serbian literature. Just all of Serbian literature unless it is garbage (garbage happens to the best of nations). Belorussian poems of the early to mid-20th century. And ... that's it, I believe. Oh, I don't mind the odd English romance novel of the 19th century.
