My name is Stefan, I live in Germany and I am looking for penpals from all over the world. I prefer German as my mother tongue and English language, but I am also open to other foreign languages. Once I tried French and Russian, but my level of speaking is rather poor. My hobbies are sports (actively and passively), reading (most of all historical books and biographies), philosophy, history, nature and travelling. I would like to exchange either snail mails or emails. If you want to know more about me I would be glad to receive your message. I am really looking forward to hearing from you.
Requests
Each serious and friendly person is welcome. One main request I do have: it would be nice to read more than just a 'Hi, how are you?' and similar messages. Those lines I won´t answer, because they prove that the writer has nothing to tell. So, please write me about yourself and about your daily life, about your interestes. I am sure that there is a lot to speak about...
Please be serious. Messages from profiles which are obviously "fake", proposals for dates and marriage invitations won´t be answered. I am really tired of them...
Hobbies & Interests

Favorite Music
It depends on the situation and on my mood, but in general I prefer pop and rock sounds. I love to listen to Rammstein, Nightwish, Evanescence, Within Temptation and similar artists. Mostly music with interesting and meaningful lyrics.
Favorite Movies
Movies with a deeper sense. But in general I don´t watch them very often.
Favorite Books
German, French, Roman and Greek philosophy (Kant, Nietzsche, Schopenhauer, Hegel, Seneca, Marcus Tullius, Platon) as well as German and Russian classical literature (Goethe, Schiller, Heyne, Puschkin, Tolstoi, Tschechow, Dostojewski, Bulgakow) are my favorites.
Favorite Quotes
"Das Lachen und die Freude sind der Sommer des Lebens." / "Smiling and joy are the summer of life." (Jean Paul)
"Auch aus Steinen, die einem in den Weg gelegt werden, kann man Schönes bauen." / "Even from stones that others put on your way, you can build up something beautiful." (J. W. von Goethe)
