Nice - and you feel that this work suits you well?

At the moment it's something I do as a volunteer thing in my spare time, and that'll probably continue in some shape or form. I think for my day job I'd want to work with older young people if I worked with kids (maybe community work or teaching or something). At the moment I'm not sure what life holds exactly, and I think I will take jobs that seem interesting enough or just expedient in terms of cash and hours that allow me to work on music and other things I feel are important. Which is a long way of saying I have no idea!

Oh hello there - you're back again I see! How's it going? I wonder if you do any volunteering with kids since you do/did that as your major. I've done volunteer work with kids (although maybe not as early as your focus might be). In any case, I recently graduated so I really need to be weighing up what my vocational interests are....

Saluton usonanino!

Strangest thing in my mouth?

The truth.

Next question: who's your favourite celebrity?

See, that's an example of a lie. The real question is: if you were a cheesecake but were lactose intolerant and really really hungry, would you eat yourself?

I'm a doctor Jim, not a penpal.

Regarding your machine.... if and when you ever have children, you will perhaps experience that joy of building sheet forts as an adult relating to your child's world. It is very different to the reality that a child inhabits and it is richer for the introspection and the self-aware memories that follow. I think this is important. It's a qualitatively different state of being and I believe it is imperative to relate to the world with one's level of maturity. Note that I am not saying be serious or anything so naive as that; more that if you simultaneously lose yourself in that make believe world whilst retaining your sense of self, that is a truly beautiful thing. When I build those forts or go digging for buried treasure, or dance with my little ones and their fairies... for that moment, I believe in all these things, only ever a breath away from my ongoing narrative sense of self. This is possibly more complex than I can intelligently describe at 6am when I've been up since 3! Am I making any sense? To interact fully as a child is a retrograde step I feel; the apposition of opposites is where true delight lies, in my humble opinion.

I don't get involved with the caramel thing in the sense of having a firm opinion. I'd have to speak to someone from the country where caramel was first discovered to ascertain the truest pronunciation, then work through the corruptions and evolutions of it to achieve some kind of intelligent response to your incredibly provocative and massively offensive line of questioning.

If you could choose to answer any question, which one would you choose? If you say "the one you just asked" I will literally squash your head between two chopsticks.

Saluton, estas bonege, ke vi lernas Esperanton!

"Vi helpus mi bonvole?"

I don´t know how far you are learning Esperanto, but two things about that sentence: Best to begin it with "ĉu", a little word which indicates a Yes/no question, and "mi" takes the accusative ending N becoming "min". If you have any Qs or need help, just message me (I don't promise to respond too quickly however, I only check this site every few days)
