UPD 10/12/2025

Wow… it’s been a while since I last updated the information here. At the core not much has changed, but there have been changes. I am the same avid reader and curious learner of the world around me: life is so beautiful and rich that I can’t help but being inspired all the time. People, places, art, the sky, nature, and hidden beauty keep me smiling in constant admiration. If you have some moments to share - sky included - please don’t hesitate to send me a message.

Interpals is a special place for me. I first appeared here in 2014, and during the Covid period I met such nice people, we went through that challenging time together. Thanks to all the wonderful Polish people who contributed to my progress in this beautiful language.

Unfortunately, I lost access to my old account, which is why several years ago I started everything from scratch, but the magic of Interpals has never ceased to amaze me: I’ve been learning a lot about different cultures and people.

It stopped working on my phone, but I love this bit of old-school way of writing messages on the desktop version.

When it comes to languages, here are some goals:
- develop my English-speaking personality,
get back to Polish, which was on hold for the last two years,
- make progress in Swedish (an adventure that started 1.5 years ago)
- and… take up German this year (probably in December).
So that’s it for now, a little perspective on what’s going on in my life.

Hey there,

My name is Volia, I was born and raised in Belarus.

This is not my first time using this page, my adventure with the Polish language started from this page, and I am enormously grateful to those patient people who helped me practice Polish.

Then I took a break from using this page for personal reasons, but it seems that it’s time to get back to my linguistic adventures again.

I believe, that languages are the best way to open up new cultures and explore the world around us. This amazing world is full of interesting people and fantastic stories, and languages are the best key to revealing their mysteries.

It’s been a while since I last visited this page, and since I started a Swedish course a month ago, I decided it's time to make some updates here. Learning languages brings me happiness, as well as nice conversations with people around the globe.

I hope to meet avid language learners and people who are open and curious about the world around them. I'm happy to talk about books, art, films, or anything that goes beyond a one-word sentence with a flirty emoji.
