I'm teaching Art theory and practice in art school.
Outside Korean as my native language, I speak English, French and some Spanish and Japanese.
Requests
I would like to meet good friends and, if possible, to find someone significant.
Language Exchange Requests
I wish to improve my Russian, Spanish and Japanese. It is always pleasure to talk with French speakers to refresh my skill.
Hobbies & Interests
I like traveling abroad, reading novels, philosophical texts, essays on future technologies, etc., watching movies, Netflix, different clips on YouTube, learning languages, making models, miniatures, visiting exhibitions, dancing Salsa and Tango, skiing and snowboarding, finding good spots as restaurants and hotels, etc.
Favorite Music
I usually listen to Chet Baker singing when I drive. Or Bossa Nova and Latin Musics. Sometimes soft French chansons such as Carla Bruni’s. Otherwise K-POP songs of DPR, J-Park’s or BP, BTS’s. I have no specific and strict preference of music. It depends on the mood.
Favorite Movies
I like old movies of Italian Neo-realism such as Fellini, Pasolini, Antonioni, Visconti’s. And for russians, Tarkovsky and Mikailkov. For Koreans, I like Hong sang-Soo and late Kim Ki-Deok’s films. Christopher Nolan and Denis Villeneuve are also among my favorites.
Favorite TV Shows
I like usually documentaries or presentations on History and Science. History channel and Discovery channel used to be my favorites. Now there are more things on YouTube. So I enjoy watching them.
Favorite Books
I read books to my students such as Mille Plateaux of G. Deleuze, Les mots et les choses of Michel Foucault, Le neutre of Roland Barthes. It’s genuinely great pleasure. Or I love to read Les fragments d’un discours amoureux of Barthes. Otherwise, I enjoyed some of Michel Houellebecq’s novel and bios of Marcel Duchamp and Peggy Guggenheim.
