About Me
I am from Colombia. I have lived and worked in various cities in France, Germany and Belgium. I am a Chemical Engineer with an MSc. in Energy and Environmental Engineering and a Ph.D. in green fuel production (Thesis pending). I live in Liège (In Wallonia, the French-speaking region of Belgium) and I currently work in energy and climate systems modeling in Flanders (Dutch-region of Belgium) to evaluate the different pathways towards climate neutrality in Belgium and countries in the Global South. I always start with these standard facts but ... there is more to me than that. The list in the Interests/Hobbies section does a better job.
I would define myself as a very curious, analytical and dynamic introvert coupled with rare and well-planned extrovert outbursts. If possible I want to ''slow travel'' around the world while making some impact/working with locals and taking my time to learn the history/the culture of the regions I visit. Trying my best every day to know myself better, become more resilient/kinder, ponder on how to live better as a community in cities, how to engage better where I live, how do I want to express myself artistically, figure out the right amount of ambition and peace I want in my life, how to love better, among other things.
