My favorite composers are Berlioz, Wagner, and Schubert, and my favorite bands are Arcade Fire, The Beach Boys, The Stone Roses, The Pixies, and Susumu Hirasawa. I'm a century behind, so I'm always up for new recommendations.

Favorite Movies

David Lynch, Federico Fellini, Luis Bunuel, Alfred Hitchcock, Edward Yang, Sergio Leone, Martin Scorsese, Francois Truffaut, the kinography of Tommy Wiseau etc.

Favorite Books

The greatest authors who ever lived, in particularly no particular order, are Thomas Mann, Jorge Luis Borges, Louis Ferdinand-Celine, Aldous Huxley, Arthur Schopenhauer, Guy de Maupassant, Edgar Allan Poe, Franz Kafka, Isaac Bashevis Singer, Nikolai Gogol, and Evelyn Waugh. Jacobean dramas, fin-de-siecle ne'er-do-wells, and Surrealist and Expressionist weirdos are also cool.
