Everything you've gone through, everything you've done, it has all led to whom and where you are right now, and at this moment you've landed on my profile. This is where your path in life has taken you. Is it where you expected to be? Where you wish you'd be? Is it perhaps a short stop, will you maybe just glance over my profile and keep moving, or will you engage in conversation and end up spending the day, the week, the next 10 years, bringing me along on your journey in life? I bring questions and answers, information and mysteries, but where you're headed is something you have to ask yourself.

Before we dive into the rest of my profile, there's something I need to say. What we see from most people is just the surface. Beneath what they show us, especially when we're strangers, there's a million things. A lot of it, we never show to anyone. Never share with anyone. We might be married for 70 years and still not share a lot of our innermost thoughts and feelings with our other half.
I want to access that in someone. I want to know all the things that make you worth knowing, the ones you keep to yourself because who would really want to know them? Well, I would. I don't want to see your pictures, I want to see your soul. I don't care how cheesy that sounds. Cheese is good. Bring on the Gouda!
It's rare to even scratch the surface with people, but reaching that depth is what I'm here for, and I will keep testing the waters with everyone, until the day I get to know all of the little things that make you a unique person and infinitely more interesting than anyone else out there. I hope we will get there, dear stranger. I hope we will find our way home.

People are always on the move nowadays. They never stop to smell the roses and maybe hold someone's hand. These are the things that make life worth living.

Who am I? Just an old soul who is a student of life and death and everything in between and outside. The one advice I can give to anyone reading this is do not think too much, just live. In the shadow realm you see everything you don't want to see.

I'm clearly not from this world, and I don't fit in here, but I'm trying to communicate anyway (most of the time to no avail). My own people are quite scarce, and I don't hold much hope in finding them. I still actively seek socialization, perhaps just to maintain the illusion that we're not entirely alone on this earth. Or maybe I am seeking a friend for the end of the world. This ocean is vast, it's not easy to make a good connection, but it's worth a shot when you get the chance. So, come float with me into the unknown. You never know what we might find.

Before the rest of my profile scares you off, let me just quickly say that if for any reason you're struggling in life you don't have to be afraid to message me. I can understand very well and I assure you that I'm someone you can talk to just fine, no matter your issues.

I like high level communication, and I'm drawn to eloquence. If your English is poor or we can't communicate well I likely won't be very interested in a closer relation, and if you're using a translator or AI, I ask that you let me know immediately, so I won't have to face later disappointment when the person I thought possessed good English skills was sort of faking it all along. I'm still happy to chat, my investment just won't be as big with that barrier between us. I'm sorry for this!

While I will happily participate in any chat, I'm not interested in short, casual, shallow ones. I never saw the appeal of just meeting people. If it doesn't turn into something lasting it just feels like wasted bonding. As such I'm always looking for someone important to add to my life, a really good friend I can talk to all the time and who will prioritize me in their life just like I will do with them. Don't let this discourage you from messaging me; I'm still happy to chat with anyone, it's just that my ultimate goal is to find someone special that I know will stick around and with whom it will feel more meaningful to talk. I am that one person who can be a constant in your life, and I would love for someone to be the same for me.

Age is not a factor for me, so don't worry that I will judge you for yours. In my opinion it's all about personality.

I like people that pay attention to detail, I believe it's the little things that matter. If you're also specific about your taste in things, that's perfect. I'd love to hear about your idiosyncrasies.

I care a little too much about most things, especially those labeled as trivial. The few things I don't care about are what others care too much about in my stead, such as accessories, money, or being another functional cog in the machinery of the sinking slaveship that bears the name of "Society".

Everyone has things they feel they can't usually talk to people about. You can talk to me about those things. You can share your darkest thoughts, secrets, and interests with me. I won't judge them, I'm attracted to darkness.

I value passion higher than success.

I'm very creative, and I want to create great things. Games, movies, books, songs, poems, etc.

I like deep thinking and want to help add to humanity's knowledge and understanding of things.

If you're not someone who might become a close friend, please try to at least have something to talk about. It doesn't look promising to be a good chat when someone I appear to have nothing in common with just writes "hi", and based on my experience it's very rarely worth it to even engage in those cases. I can't guarantee a reply if your profile is nearly empty and you start a chat like that, so, please try to make an effort.

I've always wanted to learn more languages, but that's not why I'm here. I'm here to connect with people.

I don't mind helping with Swedish, as long as our communication takes place in English. I know that most people like to practice by actually speaking the language, but I only offer assistance in form of answering questions and resolving issues you might come across as you're trying to learn.

I enjoy competitions a lot. My favorites are elimination ones.
I love food and enjoy the art of cooking.
I like to ruminate on life, the universe, humans, and existence in general. I enjoy discussions. I'm sort of a nerd. I've developed an interest in psychology and science.

I prefer intense music. My heart burns for metal, my soul feeds on electronic. My main genres are industrial metal and hardstyle, but it's hard to resist anything catchy or songs I can sing along with.
I'm a one song person, which means that most of the time I like one or a few songs from an artist or band, and then I don't listen to the rest.
I have a huge thing for songs that repeat the same thing a lot of times, and I'm a firm believer that all great songs should play until they fade.

My favorite movies feel a bit too personal to just blurt out here for everyone to see. I'm happy to tell friends all about them if they're interested.

If I can watch it over and over it gets a top spot, so mostly sitcoms go here, but that doesn't mean that plenty of others aren't great too. Just like with the movies you'll have to inquire for more details.
