I’m a 32 year old Australian who has started to travel and explore the world around me. In my daily life I am a high school teacher (I teach Social Sciences, Geography and Politics), and a knitwear designer. I have a cat called Macchiato.

I have been travelling through Europe April 2023-4, and will be returning in April 2026, and am looking for recommendations to visit or people (hopefully friends) to meet. I am a little nervous to travel as a solo female, so giving me travel tips, must-visit places and advice is always welcome.

I have studied French at school and university but it’s been a while, so I’d love to keep improving it but I’m also very aware of my mistakes!

I’d love to be able to ask for directions of the best tiramisu in Italian, so feel free to help me!

I am not online often, so I will reply slowly!

I am on here to make friends for when I travel, especially to Europe. I don't need someone to come with me, but someone(s) to meet there will be great! I am also open to physical penpals, sending and receiving letters and maintaining the old school ways of letter writing (also hopefullly improving my skills!)
