About Me

I am a 43 year old, self employed computer tech. I am a learner pilot - I love everything to do with aviation - I am not learning to be a commercial pilot - I am learning for recreational reasons.

I would like pen pals to experience other cultures and also to meet fun and interesting people.

Requests.... If you're going to write to me, if you can expend the energy to click "Send Message" please write more than "Hi" - ask me a question, tell me something about you so that I can ask a question. Communication ends quickly if you don't ask a question, because the person responding doesn't have anything to answer!

Language Exchange Requests

I used to speak fluent French. That's not the case anymore. I can understand the basics and make myself understood - but I'm not great anymore (well, at french anyway) - more than happy to help people with English.

Hobbies & Interests

I was born a nerd. I own a computer shop. I fix computers, BUT nowadays I hate computers, I wasted half my life interested in them. Now I'm interested in Aviation. I also enjoy travelling.

Favorite Music

I could be cliche and say "anything" but that wouldn't be true. Like most people, I have a wide variety of things I listen to. I enjoy Australian Country Music - the likes of Slim Dusty and John Williamson, because I like the stories. I like techno because it's got a beat. I like pop & rock because... well sometimes I just do. I'm not a GIANT fan of Rap - but some of it is pretty cool.

Favorite Movies

I like most movies - again, don't get a lot of time for them. I don't like horror but pretty much anything else I'll watch. I like sci-fi & action the most probably.

Favorite TV Shows

I like a few of the police dramas and stuff. I've watched a lot of Star Trek but more as a bonding thing with my daughter.

Favorite Books

Not a big reader, I don't have a lot of time for reading unfortunately, I find reading inefficient, I can usually absorb the story much faster in another form of media.

Favorite Quotes

"I'm too tired to think of a quote" - me right now after a 22 hour day.
