I started studying Korean first, then I studied a bit of Chinese because I wanted to understand the characters in the Korean dictionary to improve my understanding of the language, but Chinese was too difficult so I started to learn Japanese, it's more soft, there are 2 national alphabets and the kanjis. Most of kanjis are unmodified Chinese characters.
