About Me

I am an English teacher, l love literarure, poetry in particular, medieval culture, and the mountains. l have a son and I enjoy trekking and getting lost in nature for days. we normally go on holidays together. I am a vegetarian on ethical grounds. I listen to disparate types of music, from classical to folk, in different languages and l cherish the special tinges each culture pours into its music and literature. I want to make friends from different parts of the world so as to learn about and share life outlooks and of course, practise languages.

So many styles..: progressive/ power/melodic/ death/folk Metal; medieval, baroque, Romantic classical music up to Early 20th century, folk music from Sweden, Russia, Faroe Islands, Germany, Austria; Celtic/Irish; Jewish, Armenian, Persian and other types of traditonal Eastern music with ancient instruments; tavern and sailors German and English ballads, Trova cubana; Flamenco; Klezmer and Balkans.
