Currently living in my hometown, a small village in the suburbs of Bruges (Belgium), together with a labrador and cat. During the day I design electronics for spacecraft, on weekends and evenings you can find me reading books, baking (see pictures!), abusing my camera by taking way too many pictures (love landscape photography), fiddling with electronics, hiking, building model aeroplanes and  stargazing.
My interest for studying Korean comes from the fact that I lived in South Korea for a short period as post-doctoral researcher after my PhD. While I sadly had to return home rather quickly, I would like to return after the pandemic is over.
