I have two children. I work in education.
I enjoy reading, gardening, films and spending time with my friends.

Requests

No marriage proposals, money requests, dirty emails, or religious zealots. I am not interested.

I am looking for penpals, pref. aged 37-55 but you can message me if you think we have something in common.

I prefer snail mail over emails, but am open-minded on this. Sometimes emails are just easier! Life can get pretty hectic so emails are ok!

I can speak/ write a little bit of French and Spanish, but not very much, but am interested to learn more. Any language interests me, but I would be starting from scratch!

Music, reading, films - European cinema in particular, gardening, sewing, cooking, spending time with friends and family.

Favorite Music

U2, Janis Joplin, Otis Redding, the Beatles...'60s and '70s rock, soul, blues, r'n'b, folk...I like lots of different types of music. My latest musical tastes include some French pop, like Emilie Simon, Charlotte Gainsbourg, Vanessa Paradis, Emmanuelle Seigner, and Moriarty. (OK, so they're not all pop...!)

Big Love, Father Ted, Peep Show, Shameless, The Queen's Gambit,

Favorite Books

Anything by Isabel Allende, Joanne Harris or Salmin Rushdie. Anything well-written set in the south of France! My list is long!! I can be super-nerdy and love a good biography, too.
