I’m so glad you want to know about me, so don’t dilly dally…go ahead and I’ll be quiet and let you read…

I am a thirty-something self-proclaimed wanderer and eater, traveling the world in search of my next big adventure and food. I keep my head in the pink clouds, hands on a smartphone, and feet in a pair of converses.

I am gently and consistently offensive, but tenderhearted! I mean no harm, but that doesn’t mean you won’t be harmed by something I write, however, since I’m only responsible for what I write, not what you understand or how you interpret what I write, harm is a subjective term, so you could feel harmed, even though I told you that I mean no harm. Whoa.

A few of my favorite things:
-  photography
-  design
-  talking to strangers and getting to know their stories
-  squealing over small cute animals
-  strolling local food markets
-  using smiles and gestures when words fail
-  sharing new foods with people I’ve just met
-  getting lost down narrow streets
-  uncovering the unexpected, the unexplored, the underrated – in essence, the hidden gems in our world
-  puppies, fuzzy socks and jammy red wine too

My dislikes include rude people, coffee, mussels, parrots, dirty sheets, having zero plans, waking up really early, long car rides, watching ballet, watching the news, public speaking, unmade beds, and martinis....but I really want to like them because they seem so cool.

I am capable of maintaining decent communication obviously in German, but also in English and Spanish.

I've recently begun working with a Finnish start-up, which means I'll be staying in this beautiful country for some time. Yet, the more I progress, the more overambitious my aspirations to learn Finnish seem. Nevertheless, I will be happy to chat with any Finns here, and perhaps even meet in person one day, although it's unlikely we'll talk in Finnish.
