It seems, that  life is about to search for some abstract essences and universal  virtue conceptions like truth, love, sense and luck: besides the physic functions, human has to stress metaphysic existential crisis to face a resigned, or fatalistic compromise to adopt more or less to an individual interpretation of his systematical habitus in a social discourse. In a postmodern novel, the title or author, irrelevant, was “life” described, and in my own view, justified in analogies- otherwise one will sound just pathetic, primitive or conceited-cynic: Death is represent by snake- as cold, witty, sleek mimicry. And the chicken - life: chaotic, cowardly, dumb, and scared. So every time the chicken came close to the mouth of the snake, it was horrified scurry with ones wings and try to escape panic-stricken. And when the chicken was at the side or on the back of the snake, it already started to scrape with ones feet blithefully and pick for grains. But the snake is all the time around and just need to snatch.
