My main interests are ideologies and what different political directions means to real life and real people. In addition to my work I have picked up studies several times in my life. For the last 2 years I have taken so many subjects that you wouldn’t believe the amount if I told you. Political science is my area of interest at the moment. I take much inspiration from the works of Noam Chomsky in particular. Now I can talk about both daily routines, the nitty gritty of life too. But then again I do prefer a friend who can also discuss to larger questions of life, structures of the society. That does certainly not mean you should "know" anything in particular or be qualified based upon some kind of requirements. Being open minded, curious and able to have thoughts bigger than your own self is more than enough.

My personality test resulted in the INTJ-T label. I found the additional booklet to be very interesting and helpful. This is not a horiscope trying to predict your actions. I like to take more learning from the different forces within you. It is certainly not limiting you and telling you some goals are impossible. To achieve something in particular you now know this might take the extra effort from you regarding your tendency to lean one way or the other.

Looking for friendship (not more, not less, as I am married). Preferably someone who also like to discuss the bigger picture, the mysteries of life. It can be any age and any gender, its more essential that we are able to find some common frequencies. The messages or emails does not have to be several pages each time, but one or two sentences is rarely enough to produce a meaningful conversation (prove me I am wrong). I like to have my viewpoints challenged and I am ready to challenge yours.

I am here first and foremost for friendship exchange. Secondly I am learning Spanish (beginners level for now), so I wont bother you (too much) with that apart from showing off on the few words I have learned.

I learned chess very late in life, also tried to learn tennis. Both occupy much of my time (and money). Also tried orienteering, which actually suits me perfect. A slight problem is that I am extremely afraid of snakes, so running in the woods is hardly the perfect combination. I listen to podcasts, preferably with some politics topic or ideology related to them. A few months ago I bought a saxophone after a few months of practising the recorder flute. After torturing my surroundings the first month or two it is starting to remind you of music. I like books, but I am a terrible reader. After a few lines, the mind starts wandering. So reading a book takes me forever. Years ago I was convinced I then didn’t have the academic skills, now I know this is common. Some learn efficiently by reading, some learn more visually, some prefer videoes or spoken words.

Always on the look for new material, call me cracy but I am ready to test out your suggestions. Here is a short list of what has given me the most (so far):

I rarely see movies many times, the best movies are those I havent seen. A story taking you into another world without overdoing it. The Hollywood scene rarely accomplish this. Suggestions are much appreciated.

- 'The Corporation' based upon Joel Bakan's work
- Michael Moore's work is entertaining despite his style being maybe too blunt and american
- Woody Allen is OK, although it can sometimes overextend the goofy-factor

'Better call Saul' - it has everything, loads of charm, smartness, humor, characters. I can see much of myself in parts of Saul. Breaking Bad is of course within the same world, but some episodes are a bit too mass pleasing. The main character is too far from a real person.
