Your knowledge of cinema surpasses me. I'm not at the point where I characterize works by their artist or films by their directors. The thing I value most is the atmosphere. The stories blend together, they repeat in variations. For example, I thoroughly enjoyed "About Time." The only reason I enjoyed the film was because of the interaction of the father and son. I enjoyed "Cashback" for the artistic quality of still art. "Cinema Paradiso" is a combination of a love of cinema and reminiscence of childhood; the soundtrack was spectacular as well. What I loved most about "Cinema Paradiso" though was the interaction Sal had with Alfredo. I never knew my grandfathers, but I imagined they would be like Alfredo; guiding us with a kind hand, telling us stories and teaching us the fragility of life as we see them age.

I should look more into Lanthimos filmography then. But I have to say that my all time favorite film is still "Cinema Paradiso." I know it's probably difficult to choose just one, but do you also have a favorite?

Have you by chance seen the film, The Lobster? If it's love we're talking about then there is no better explanation recorded on film.

I find that time runs slower when the conversation is bad and faster when you're enjoying yourself.

Hello! Thanks for visiting my profile! :) Yours is pretty much amazing and the reference to Slughorn's hourglass sounds a lot to me. As well as the general message you want to convey behind your description ... Thank you very much for this very clear opinion...!
