Good day everyone!

My name is George, and it's been a long time since I've used these websites! To be honest, I miss interacting with people from across the world on a daily basis, whether it's sending e-mails, chatting through WhatsApp, or following each other on Instagram.

Why did I return? Probably because my job keeps me super busy, and I have my own established friend group (many of them married/in long-term relationships so they're not always available), so it's difficult meeting new people unless at a club meet-up or the pickleball court. Might as well read someone's profile, connect on common interests and go from there, so let's start chatting!

My current passion is photography. I'm going to gradually upload photographs to places I've been to, or things that caught my eye. My dad used to run a photography studio when I was a kid, and pictures taken by someone else from a camera are better than a selfie. Photography also encourages me to visit new places, whether it's neighborhoods/towns near me that I haven't explored, or distant places that I've wanted to visit but wasn't motivated to make the trip.

I've also been travelling a lot more recently. One of the few good things to come from the pandemic was that I was able to save money easily, and all that money saved up allows me to plan travel adventures that I've always wanted to go on. Unfortunately I've lost many photos from previous trips, but trips I've taken since 2023 will be uploaded on my albums. Tell me why I should visit your home country/city next! I love creating travel itineraries, I like to be prepared.

I'm an active person, so that included hiking, soccer, jogging, power walking, and swimming. Hiking and photography go hand-in-hand for me, as I always take my camera when I'm about to hit the trail. I also like urban exploring; I like walking around different parts of town (with my camera of course), taking photos, discovering restaurants/venues, etc. I exercise almost every day; my day is not complete without a workout.

In general, I love sports. Soccer, gridiron football, basketball, baseball, motor racing, etc. We can have all the debates that we want too!
