My name is Piotr and I'm a language learning enthusiast living in Warsaw, Poland. I teach English and Spanish for a living and I'm studying linguistics, pursuing my dream job of working at the university. Apart from Polish, I speak English and Spanish fluently and I can communicate in German and Russian, too. Currently I'm focusing on improving my German and Russian, but it would be cool to practise other languages as well.

Being a bit of an introvert (and gay), it's always been a bit difficult for me getting to know people in real life, but everything's easier on the internet 😛 Teaching English in turn taught me to talk with people about virtually everything, so go ahead, try me! 😄 I'm keen on getting to know you and learn about things even if they're a bit outside of my interests 😄 I'm a Ravenclaw after all.

Me encantan los idiomas, pero, honestamente, hablarlos no es el objetivo más importante para mi. Lo que me gusta más es estudiarlos, analizar las semejanzas y diferencias entre ellos y maravillarme con su diversidad. Comunicarme con otros mediante ellos también es una ventaja, pero soy bastante introvertido.

Just because I didn't write anything first, it doesn't mean I'm not interested - it's just me having a low level of self-esteem ("who would want to talk to me anyway? 😥 "😅) Plus, I've never really understood how to successfully start a conversation online, so usually I'd go for something primitive like "Hello" and then worry about sounding like a bot... Yeah, please do me a favour and be the one to start the conversation 😜

I'm looking for someone to speak Russian with, but I'm open to meeting Spanish and German-speaking people too. I'd be great to get to know people from other countries/cultures as well!
Actually, if you're more into writing e-mails than real-time chatting, that might be right up my alley too!
