I am a 37 year old male who lives in Northwestern Ohio in the USA. I have been playing the drums since I was very young. I've been in various bands since I was 14. History and meteorology are my favorite interests. Not so much into television, more into movies and games occasionally. I live in a big old house (built in 1851) with my 2 brothers and my dog, Lucky. Someday, I would like to learn either German or Norwegian or both. Lots of people know two languages and I only know one. My mom's side of the family are all from Norway and my dad's side is a mixture of mostly German, some French. I take great pride in knowing who my family was and is.

I am not religious at all so don't question me on that. Religion is for weak people and I have no need for ancient threatening texts. Also, I am only interested in talking with women, please. NO MEN!

I have been playing the drums for 27 years this year on my birthday. I am currently not in a band, but I have been writing a lot of my own material lately. I had forgotten how fun it is to compose from scratch!

TV does not interest me much anymore. Reality shows are so stupid. They basically show that there are no creative writers anymore. History channel has some good stuff once in a while. But they have been slipping too with their religious crap and end of the world hype.

Anything to do with real history: Civil War, ancient Egypt and Greece, Rome, King Leonidas and the Battle of Thermopylae,  Alexander the Great, Nazi Germany, Tsars of Russia. Lately I have been getting into fiction books too, as well as my new books on learning, speaking, and writing in German.

They that can give up essential liberty to obtain a little temporary safety, deserve neither liberty nor safety.
