My name is David. I am currently working as IT support technician for the US federal government. I am 38 and I have some college education, but I am studying language independently on my own.

Despite the challenges of the past few months, I look forward to meeting new people and stretching my communication skills. My interests range from science fiction, history, philosophy, and technology to many forms of music.

I look forward to meeting you. I have various electronic means of communicating. Including a profile on Odnoklassniki: David Burkhanaev

Also see below if you’re interested in snail mail.

***Snail Mail: While this form of communication has become more forgotten and less relied upon over time I feel that handwritten communication can still be charming.

History, politics, philosophy, science fiction, computers and technology

Too many interests to choose just one.

I like classic Star Wars and Trek and most classic science fiction. Most movies from 2000 and prior but there are still some gems being made today. This is a topic for discussion.

Star Trek, Stargate, Babylon 5, Farscape, Ted Lasso, For All Mankind, andFoundation to name a few.

This is a tough one to choose. I love science fiction and historical fiction the best.
